Steffensen Consult ApS is specialised in sub-national government public financial management from planning to monitoring of the actual execution, and has contributed to development of several assessment tools, including the SNG PEFA tool, as well as conducted several reviews of the capacity and performance of sub-national government’s public financial management systems and procedures.
Jesper Steffensen has been a guest professor on PFM at Duke University, and provided inputs to several publications related with SNG finance and PFM. PFM is also an integrated part of the performance assessment systems developed under the performance-based grant systems, and integrated in all design of the climate change adaptation funding programs, including flow of funds, budgeting, accounting and auditing procedures.
